The n-replicated system described by the Ising spin with the random exchange interactions ±J is separated into two sub-systems, namely, the spin-dependent part and the spin-independent part. It is pointed out that although for n<1 the entropy and specific heat contributed from the spin-dependent part are negative, those of the whole system are always positive. It is shown that from the spin-dependent part the Mattis type phase essentially described by an asymptotic Potts model appears at finite n and vanishes for n→0 (the quenched limit).
