Behaviour of an Electron Wave in Electron-Focusing Geometry

In electron-focusing geometry in the presence of a magnetic field, numerical calcula-tions have been made for the wave functions of stationary states and for transmissionprobability of the electron wave from the injector to the collector. The patternbehaviour of transmission probability is demonstrated as a function of the externalmagnetic field. The results obtained here reproduce the experimental focusing spectraqualitatively.coherent electron focusing, mesoscopic system, quantum wire
