• The reexists the model proposed by Labb<S and l'riedel to explain the structuraltransformation in V3Si. In their model, it is assurned that the electronic states inthe three kinds of vanadium linear chains can be expressed as the tight-bindingbands. An influence of the coulomb interaction between the electrons on thismodel is investigated with the aid of the Hubbard model. It is deduced that themagnitude of the coulomb i?ateraction in the system described by Labbe andFriedel's model is considered to be small within the framework of Kanamori'sapproximation.
