On the Shake-up Satellite of Co2p in SrCoO_<3-x>

X-ray photoelectron spectra for the perovskite-t)'pe oxides SrCo0, , (,X'=0.5,0.25, 0.03) were measured to observe the electron shake-tmjc satellites in Co2plevels. The satellites are considered to be caused by the charge transfer from 02p,to Co3de.. Based on the one-c:Iectron model, the energy difl'crence between 'chesatellite and the main peak, 8.?4 eV, may be regarded as that between 02p, andCo3de. levels in the ionized sta.te of the inner Corp levels.
