STINT/STS sttrdies h?tve been carried otut on siragle cryst?tls of'the electron-doped high-T. oxideNdz .Ce.CtrO.) (r x 0.15,1. N 20.5 K) to clarif'y the syttautaetr'y of' its stupercondtrcting orderpararaaeter A. The obserx'ed gulp strtrcttrre of the qtr?tsi-particle excitation is f'otrnd to dependon the distance betxveen the tip azad tlae santaple sturf'?tce ;tnd its characteristics indicate that tlaein-plane anisotropy of' A is loatsically siutail?tr to thstt reported previotrsly for hole-doped high-].oxides: It is, at first sight, ry-like btrt catn be expl?rined by the (r' - y') s3'uaautaetry by applyinga tnodel proposed previotrsly [J. Phys. Soc. Jl)11. 64 (1995) 1476], xvhich takes accotunt of theelectron XVdV8 x'ector dependeuace of' the ttruaneling probsrbility. The zero l.>has condtrctance peakhas also l.>een observed.
