Spin-flop artd contperasation plaenomena of tlae naaguaetization in ferrixatagnetucFe/Gd naultila)'er filxns laave extensix'ely beeua iuavestigaled. It turns out that ex-pex'inaeuatal results of tltc field and texnaj>erature dependeutce of naagxaetization agreefairly v,'ell w'itla tlae calculated ones based on the nrolecular field xaaodel. Irt tlte calcula-Lion, W'C ltave obtained tlte magztetic structure, assumivcg tlaat tlae conaposition ismodulated stepwise, and tltat tlae excl'naxage ixvteractioxas ixt Fe and Cd layers are tltesame values as tl'uose in bulk Fe and Gcl metals, respectively. Botla lottgitudinal andtransverse n?agxaetoresistavaces slaow a c:rossover near tlte spin flop field due to tirecIta?age in the magnetic structure.
