Submillimeter Wave ESR of SrCuO_2 and Sr_2CuO_3

ESR experiments on powder samples of SrCu0. and Sr.Cu0, have been tried in thesubmillirneter wave region. No resonance absorption has been observed on freshlyprepared samples at tlte temperatures from 86 K to 265 K, while the samples left inthe air for a few months ha',ze revealed distinct rnagnetic res;onance signals aroundg=2. Especially the complicated line shape of Sr.CuO, suggests the overlap of twokinds of EPR, one of which is related to the EPR observecl in SrCu0.. From theresults of H,O gas exposed samples, the effect of 1120 to these samples is discussed.
