Cyclotron resonance measurements on a single crystal of GdAs have been performed in the temperature range from 4.2 to 0.5 K to obtain the cyclotron effective mass of the carriers at the Fermi level. The cyclotron effective masses varies from 0.45 m_0 to 0.48 m_0 depending on magnetic filed direction, which is about two times larger than the masses estimated by dHvA effect.
