Origin of anomalous y-shift observed in a Cr-trimer complex {Cr30(CzH5COO)6(H20).}N0.2H.0 is discussed. It is found that the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction in the trimer produces the in-plane y-shift for the triangulartrimer plane. The y-shift in magnetic field If. is negative with the magnitude of(S/3)D",/ {(JAM" - (g')p.H.)" } where D. is the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interactionperpendicular to the trimer plane. g') is in-plane y-value of each Cr" ton, p.is Bohr magneton and AE is the energy gap between the ground and first excitedKramers doublets splitted by the intra-trimer exchange interaction. The ob-served in-plane y-value 1.89 is well explained by introducing D? of 0.9 K in thetrimer.
