High Field Magnetoabsorption of Hydrogenic Excitons at Second Direct Gap in InSe

The magneto-optical absorption of the E.' exciton in 7-InSe has been measuredat 4.2 K in pulsed magnetic fields up to 378 k0e. The meastu'ement in the Faradayconfigtu'ation gives the reduced effective mass g.=(0.]19f0.O07)m.. The meas-ured mass parameter shows that the N-Lh interband Landau transition energylies above but parallel to the (7V -l- 1)-th excitonic level observed in high magneticfields.
