The reaction of TiS., ZrSe., HfSe., IT-TaS. and VSe. with the n-butyllithium inhexane solution has been done through the measurement of time dependent electricalresistivity and Hall coefficient. The semiconducting nature of TiS., ZrSe. and IIfSe. isconverted into the metallic one by the lithium intercalation. The charge transfer ratesfrom lithium atom to TiS. and ZrSe. bands are determined as 1.0 and 0.7, respectivelyfrom the chemical analyses and the Hall coefficients. The electrical resistivities ofLi.TiS. (0.16<,v<0.47) and Li.ZrSe. (0.23<.X'<0.95) almost follow the Griineisen'srelation for the metallic conductor. The low temperature resistivity of Li,ZrSe.(,v=0.49) shows a superconductivity below 1.7 K.
