The magnetxc SUSCCPt1b1l1tY and 1tS anxsotropy Of IT-Take were measured from300 K to 1.2 K. The r>aramaxnetic rart observed bar DiSa]vo et al. was confirmedand was found to increase raridlv with the temperature decrease below liquidhelium temr>erature. The paramagnetic moment has a non-linear field dependencewhich cannot be exrlained b>' the Brillouin function. The origin of this paramag..netism seems not to be magnetic impurities but the correlation effect of Andersonlocalized electrons associated with a large amplitude of the charge density wave.
