A soliton contribution to the low-temperature heat capacity of the linearantiferromagnet (CH.).NMnCl, (TMMC) in a high magnetic field is calculatedby using the transfer integral method. Our model properly takes into accounta switching of effective hard anisotropy axis, which is expected to occur at ahigh field (9 - NOT) when the field is applied parallel to the easy plane. The presentresults are in quantitative agreement with the recent experimental data.
