Critical Behavior of Rb_2ZnCl_4 at the Normal-Incommensurate Phase Transition

Ultrasonic velocity and attenuation of Rb.ZnCl. were measured around thenormal-incommensurate transition. From the velocity change of the transversewave the critical exponent 273 was determined to be 2/?=0.62:E0.05, which isvery close to the three-dimensional Ising expozxent.
