'H NIVIR was trsed to study the dynataaics of' acyl chains in the P'. phase of natmltilanaellar DPPCliposoznes. The spectrurn was consisted of' two cornponents, the get-type and the psetrdo-fltrid-type one, in the P', phase. The observed 'H NIVIR spectra were analyzed by the stuperpositionof two types of spectrtruaa in the P9 phase. The quadrupolar splitting and intensity ratio of thesespectra were estimated by simtrlation. The ratio of the pseudo-fluid-type spectrurn was 21% oftotal intensity at 37.5'C. It was revealed th?tt the pseudo-fltnid sjcectrurn did not correspond tothe L. component but that it was origin?tted f'rorn the ripple strttcttrre. The existence of thepseudo-fluid regions which are accompanied with a ridge or a furrow in ripple strtrcttnre wasstrggested.
