Magnetism of LaNi. .Co,03 (0<,X'<0.5) is investigated from 6 to 300 K.Temperature independent susceptibility of Latin. increases by Co doping. Theincrement of the susceptibility obeys the Curie-Weiss law at high temperatures.p., is 3 to 4p. per Co ion for all the samples. Small sponta.neous magnetizationis observed at low tem.pera.tures. It is explained qualitatively by the almost randomdirections of spins because of the distributed ex<:hange interactions between Coions.
