Contraction motions of stripe domains in an as-grown LPE-garnet film arestudied by a time-resolved obseu'vation method. Most of the contraction motionsare grouped into three types based on the shapes of the stripe ends. In the smallerdriving force region, there coexist mode-1 and 2. Under the clriving force largerthan a critical value, only mode-3 is observed.The overshooting behaviors and the collapse fields of resultant bubbles ordumbbells show that three modes differ from each other in tlte distribution andpolarity of vertical Bloch lines accumulated in a moving domain wall. Numbers ofaccumulated Bloch lines are estimated.
