For energies per bond ε of the ground state on the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model of finite linear chain lattices, it is proved that ε_p obtained under the periodic boundary condition is always larger than ε_f under the free boundary condition. In addition to it the theorem to decide the time reversal parity for eigenfunctions with M=0 (M: magnetic quantum number of the total spin) is given.
