One Dimensional Consolidation of Soft Grounds under Low Embankment

This paper is concerned with one dimensional consolidation analysis taking account of secondary consolidation effects. It is shown that the consolidation curves are influenced considerably by load increment ratio and secondary consolidation, and the shape of cosolidation curve is controlled by the ratio of secondary consolidation to primary consolidation.
