Tunneling Measurements of Thin Film Y-Ba-Cu-O/Nb Junctions

A thin-film tunnel junction with a Y-Ba-Cu-O/Nb structure has been prepared using a strongly c-axis oriented poly-crystalline Y-Ba-Cu-O film deposited on a sapphire substrate. From the differential tunneling characteristics, the harmonic gap structure (?,3?,5?) for a Y-Ba-Cu-O compound could be observed.
