Anomalous Behavior of Hall Coefficient and Thermoelectric Power of YBa_2Cu_3O_<6+x> and La_<2-x>Sr_xCuO_4 above Room Temperature

Hall coefficient R_H, thermoelectric power S and electrical resistivityρ of YBa_2Cu_3O_<6+x> were measured above room temperature. S of La_<2-x>Sr_xCuO_4 was also studied. Various anomalies found in the temperature dependence of these quantities above room temperature indicate the occurrence of rather significant change in the electronic state with temperature in Cu oxide systems.
