The c-axis resistivitv ttc and lonwitudin?tl uaaaunetoresistance ,Atacr, /t?o of 1VIOCl5 GIC'S (sta:e-2to 6) have been extensively sttrdied theoretically in tertaas of the following series-resistance unodel:- 71 - 1 .NItac ] Kdrt?.(GIG) -F-dc(n - I)t?.(GG)l/Ic, to.(GG) : '2t.=. occ(t, t 81)/(n - Xi, wlaere n us thestage ntrraaber, pc (Gl (V) is tl'xe partial resistivity related to grapltite-inter'calant-graphite sattdwiclalayer and poc(i, 7-El) corresponds to the resistivity associated with the i H 7-Fl transition in aninterior laver region withotrt intervenin: intercalate lavers. ttcc(i, i -F- l) rnakes a bottleneck inthe condtrction process along the c-axis, and plays an essential role in the longittrdinal negativeunagnetoresistance for stage-4 to 6 and in the stage dependence of p. vs. T ctrrve. By trsing thesaune nuodel we can explain the uuaetallic tenaperattrre dependence and positive tnagnetoresistancein the in-plane condttction which is itadependent of the stage ntrtnber,
