Thermoelectric power (TIP) of iodine monoc;hrolide-graphite intercalation corn-pounds (ICI-GICs) exhibits a linear temperatuu'e dependence at low temperatures, which is ascribed to tlte diffusion term. Above 200 K TEP levels off. This behaviorstems from the phonon drag effect. By claoosing ant appropriate parameter setSugihara's theory can provide a good fit with the observed TIP results for the stage-1and -2 ICI-GICs.thermoelectric pow'er, graphite, intercalationm compound, diffusion, phonondrag, theory, calculation
