Green's function method developed in the preceding paper is here applied to the amalgamation phenomena observed in the paramagnetic resonance in an alternant spin system. A linear chain having an alternant variation in the g-factor is treated. Behaviours of the characteristic parameters of resonance, i.e. line width, resonance frequencies, and shapes are calculated for an arbitrary magnitude of the exchange interaction. Quantitative comparisons with experiments are made on CuSO_4・5H_2O and K_2CuCl_4・2H_2O resonance, for which the magnitude of the exchange constant between dissimilar ions were found to be 1900 gauss and 2300 gauss for the two substances, respectively. The line shape is a rather sensitive function of the coupling constant, and a fairly good agreement with experiment was found by adjusting the coupling constant.
