Effect of Magnetic Dipolar Interaction on Antiferromagnetic Resonance in (C_2H_5NH_3)_2CuCl_4

Antiferromagnetic resonance experiments on (C.H5NH.).CuC1. with various-shaped samples have been performed in the frequency range of 0.8 to 8 GHz atT=I.4 K. The experimental results can be understood over the wide frequencyrange by the theory including the surface demagnetizing field, the Lorentz fieldand newly introduced magnetic dipoJar anisotropy field which changes withcanting angle between sublattice magnetizations. Following parameters aredetermined: antiferromagnetic interlayer exchange field If.'=8290e, ortho-rhombic anisotropy fields are 74 Oe and 1950 Oe in antiferromagnetic phase and73 Oe and 1504 Oe in field-induced paramagnetic phase.
