Subthreshold parallel pumpirtg of magnons in the quasi-once-dimensionalferromagnet, CsNiF3, is investigated at 70, 90 and 120 GHz at temperaturesbetween 1.3 and 4.2 K. The absorption line shape which is anisotropic in theeasy-plane is found to be proportional to the magnon density of states which iscalculated by using the following parameters : intrachain ferromagna::tic exchangefield #r=300k0e, interchain antiferromannetic exchanse field H;= -12OOOc,magnetization M=24O emu/cm' and anisotropy field H.=5S k0e. One of thetwo peaks which are the peculi;tr features of the magnon density of states inquasi-one-dimensional ferromagnets is revealed by this experiment.
