Concentration Dependence of Modulated Phases in Diluted ANNNI Models : Monte Carlo Simulation : Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics

Monte Carlo simulations for equilibrium spin configurations and percolation were carried out to study concentration dependence of spacially modulated phases in diluted, three-dimensional ANNNI models. The critical ratio of λ( ≡-J_2/J_1 ) at which modulated and ferromagnetic phases meet at T=0K is invariant against dilution. The ratio giving the Lifshitz point is also insensitive to dilution. The critical concentration for modulated phases is estimated to be 0.35 by percolation. Phase diagram in the space of (T,λ, p) is obtained.
