Four dimensional slope-mass correlation is discussed in the framework of a two-component model which consists of the absorbed pion-exchange Drell-Hiida-Deck amplitude and the resonance production amplitude. It is shown that the difficulty inherent in the pion-exchange Drell-Hiida-Deck model is overcome by the two-component model.
