Analysis of P_sN→VN Reactions through s-Channel Picture

Four neutral vector meson production processes initiated by π^±N and K^±N are analysed through s-channel picture. Amplitudes for π^-p→ρ^0n are constructed by Hankel functions of the first kind under the assumption that imaginary parts of pion exchange amplitudes, too, are saturated by s-channel resonances with a common impact parameter b_0≃-5 GeV^<-1>, while for real parts the long tail in the impact parameter space is very important. It is shown that partial cross sections, density matrices and the phase coherence between unnatural parity exchange amplitudes are well reproduced. Through SU(3) counting, ω production is analysed and using ρ^0 and ω production amplitudes, we investigate K^<*0> and <K<*0>>^^^- productions. Experimental features are qualitatively reproduced. Strong exchange degeneracy between π and B is shown to be broken.
