A Novel Phenylethanoid, Isocrenatoside Isolated from the Whole Plant of Orobanche coerulescens

A new phenylethanoid, isocrenatoside, was isolated from the whole plant of Orobanche coerulescens, and was determined to be 6-O-calfeoyl-1,2-O-[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-1,2-ethanediyl]-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-β-D-glucopyranoside. Six known glycosides, acteoside, crenatoside, descaffeoyl crenatoside, cistanosidc F, rhodioloside, 2-phenylethyl β-primeveroside were also isolated from the plant. These structures were mainly established by NMR spectroscopy and by chemical methods.
