• A new sesquilignan diglueoside, hedyotol C 4'',4'''-di-O-β-D-glucopyranoside[guaiacylglycerol-β-medioresinol ether 4'',4'''-di-O-β-D-glucopyranoside] (1), was isolated from the bark of Eucommia ulmoides OLIV. (Eucommiaceae), together with two known lignan glucosides and five known iridoids. The structure of 1 was determined on the basis of chemical evidence and spectroscopic studies.
