Generalized Fibonacci lattices which are generated by the inflation transformatnonA-+A"B and B=A xvith integer m, have been grown by means of molecular beamepitaxy. Many sharp satellite peaks are observed in tlte diffraction patterns, and thepeaks are specified by 7(m)=[mf(m'-l-4)"']/2. When the ratio of alternating layerthicknesses (d./d.) is equal to 7(m), the intervals of peaks are indexed by onlyq. );(m)' with adequate q, and integer ,v. When the value of d. / d. is not equal to y(m),the intervals of peaks are indexed by q.y(m)" and q.y(m)' with integers u andv (q.#q.). The correlation of lattice arrangements becomes weaker with increasungm, but the correlation is independent of sample size N of the lattuce.[Fibonacci lattice, one-dimensional quasi-periodic lattice, molecular beam ll epitaxy, X-ray diffraction, synchrotron radiationl
