Resonant Light Scattering in InBr:Intensity Alternation of Multiple LO Phonon Scattering

The incident photon energy dependence of multiple [0 phonon scattering lines hasbeen investigated in InBr under the excitation in the first exciton region (2.331 eV,E//c) at 2 K. Each LO line shows strong outgoing resonance at the first exciton energy.The calculation of the cross section for the 2L0 phonon scattering is carried out andit is indicated that the interband LO phonon scattering of exciton between p and s exciton states is the important relaxation process in InBr.
