The electronic structure of impurity atoms belovtgiucg to the period, Li, Be,? " ,F, Ne in ferromagmtetic nickel is calculated for three possible sites, the substitu-tional, octahedral i?vterstitiaI and tetrahedz'al irate?'stitial sites with the muffin-tinpotential model discussed previously. The hyperfiune field and the spixt-latticerelaxation time at Jaw tenaperatures are calculated axad compared with availableexperimental data. Detailed discussions are giveut can the mechatvjsms producingthe site dependezace and the difference betweeza the presezat case auad the case ofheavier nuclei previously discussed.
