Optical properties are reported for a class of quasi-periodic superlattices generatedby the rule S(n -F- l)=S(o)'S(n - l). p is a positive integer and the first two generationsS(1) and S(2) are chosen arbitrarily. The reflectivi1.y spectrum shows the same fractalstructure as that of the Fibonacci lattice reported in the preceding paper. The self-simi-Rarity factor of the spectrum is found to be o( p)= ( ; - 77) /2 independent of theinitial generations. Analytic expressions are given of the structure factor and thereflectivity within the bilinear approximation.
