Dynamics of sine-Gordon solitons and bions under constant electric field areinvestigated numerically and interesting phenomenon of dissociation of bionsinto soliton-antisoliton pair is observed. The feature of the bion dissociationdepends on the initial phase of the bion and the electric field. For intermediatestrength of the electric field, there are cases that the bion dissociates into twopairs of solitons and antisolitons. In strong field, the equation changes graduallyinto linear differential equation with random modulation.A possible explanation based on the bion dissociation is proposed for theinterpretation of the non-ohmic conductivity observed in TTF-TCNQ at lowesttemperature.
