Nonlinear Slow Fluctuation in Magnetic Ordering of CoCl_2-GIC -Observation of a 1/ω-Type Spectrum-

Dynamical aspects of magnetic ordering in CoCI.-graphite intercalation corn-pounds (GIC) were examined by complex AC susceptibility .X"(co) measurements atvery low frequencies, down to the sub-millihertz region. The nearly independentfeature of the imaginary part X" on the measuring frequency co has revealed the firstdirect finding of a 1 / u-type fluctuation spectrum in regular rnagnetic systems, on thebasis of the fluctuation-dissipation theorem. The origin of the nonlinear fluctuation isdiscussed, taking the characteristic lattice structure into acc:ount.
