Spontaneous Staggered Magnetization of Two-Dimensional Heisenberg like Antiferromagnet with Canting Interaction

Proton NMR of two-dimensional Heisenberg like antiferromagnets CU(HCOO)2=2C0(ND.).?2D.O (CuFUD) and the isostructural Cu(HCOO).'4DzO (CUF4D) areexamined in detail near and below the transition temperature 7'.. By eliminating theeffect of field inducd magnetization due to the canting mechanism, the very growingfeature of spontaneous staggered magnetization L. below T. is observed. ForCuFUD, a single exponential law with /l'=0.22 is obtained in the whole measured fernperature range. For CuF4D, however, a crossover phenomenout is observed. p=0.22for z(=1 - T/ 7'.)>e'(=5X 10 ') and /7=0.30 for e<e'. Comparing the results forCuFUD and for CuF4D, a possible origin for such a novel critical index is discussed.
