Modified Maurer-Cartan Condition and Fiber Bundle Structure of the Gauge Theory of Gravity : Particles and Fields

• The fiber bundle structure of our gauge theory of gravity will be investigated with clarifying the geometrical meaning of the extended connection and ascertaining the consistency of the modified Maurer-Cartan condition. BRST* transformations of the fields are regarded as the partial differential equations in spin vector space, which will be solved to detect the form of the extended connection. The matching condition on two overlapping charts can be solved perturbatively, and then the extended connection is consistently defined in the bundle space. The modified Maurer-Cartan condition and the extended connection in our theory are found to play roles similar to the Maurer-Cartan condition and the connection in the ordinary gauge theory.
