The s-Dependence of F/D Ratio and Universality of UR Amplitudes

The experimental features of total cross sections up to FNAL region are analyzed systematically from the viewpoint of universality of UR amplitudes. It is shown that ρ-and ω-universality relations which are independent of F/D ratio are well satisfied. The relations among total cross section differences which reduce to the Johnson-Treiman relations and the Freund relations in the case of pure f-type coupling for baryon vertex are also satisfied when the s-dependent F/D ratio F_+=1+2.0 (p_L/p_0)^<-0.75> (p_0=1 GeV/c) is introduced. Moreover, the imaginary parts of the nondiffractive amplitudes and the diffractive amplitudes are extracted. The rising of total cross sections is briefly discussed.
