By use of sodium hypophosphite, arsenic can be determined rapidly without employing complicated instruments as published in the third report, but it is rather difficult at present to obtain the reagent. That reagent is substituted by stannous chloride for the same fundamental studies on a concentration of hydrochloric acid, and other subjects. A procedure for the determination of arsenic in iron, steel and iron ores was established, by which analyses of several samples were carried out successfully.
