This paper concerns orthodontic treatment of a male patient having an impacted mandibular first molar. The molar was brought to a proper position by orthodontic traction after the adjacent mandibular second molar was exposed and distalized. A good occlusion and facial esthetics were achieved, and these results have been maintained for two years after completion of the active treatment.
