Subsolidus Phase Study of MO-Nd_2O_3-WO_3 (M=Ca, Sr, Ba, Mg and Zn) and Nd_2O_3-GeO_2-WO_3 Systems

Subsoildus phase equilibria have been investigated in six ternary systems, CaO-, SrO -, BaO -, MgO- and ZnO -Nd_2O_3 -WO_3 and Nd_2O_3 -GeO_2 -WO_3. Twelve ternary compounds and five solid solutions were found to exist in the respective systems. Fluorescent activity was detected for powdered scheelite-type solid solution specimens in systems including CaO, SrO or GeO_2.
