Intranidal behaviors of two Southeast Asian stingless bees, Trigona (Tetragonula) laeviceps and T. (T.) pagdeni are characterized by the following ethological features : (1) Relatively simple queen-worker coactions, (2) successive cell construction, (3) facultatively batched oviposition process, (4) a small number of cell attendants and their low excitement before food provisioning, (5) more cruising on the comb than waiting by the cell of the queen before food provisioning, (6) simple predischarge sequence with rarity of queen's body insertion into cells, (7) successive provisioning in cells which forms a batch, (8) irregular sequence of cell operculation, and (9) absence of worker oviposition in queenright condition.
