Mean duration of the incubation period of Trigona (Trigonella) moorei workers is 46.5 days in total, being more than twice of 20 days in the honeybee, and 5.5, 10 and 31 days in egg, larva and pupa respectively. Post-emergence pigmentation of adult workers is divided in 8 substages, each with duration of 0.75 (I_a), 1.75 (I_b), 2 (II_a), 4 (II_b), 3 (III_a), 2 (III_b) and 4 (IV_a) days. The final substage (IV_b) starts 17.5 days after emergence. Mean duration of pre-foraging period after oviposition attains 76 days, being 2.5 times longer than 30 days in the honeybee.
