Numerical computations taking into account detailed chemical kinetics and multicomponent diffusion are made of axisymmetric laminar jet diffusion flames with large scale vortex. The flame structure and unsteady behavior are numerically analyzed, and the flame characteristics with respect to flame stretch, curvature and preferential diffusion is discussed.
