Theory of Local Density of States of d_<x^2-y^2>-Wave Superconducting State Near the Surfaces of the t-J Model

Spatial dependencies of' the pair potential and the local density of' states near the strrfacesof d.w .x-xx'ave strperconductors are sttrdied theoretically. The calctrlation is based on the tJ naodel within a naean-field tlaeory wvith Gtrtzwiller approxirnation. Variotrs types of' sttrfacec'eottaetries are considered. Sir??ilar to ottr restrlt in the extended Htrbbard unodel. it is fotrndthat the forztaation of zero-energy states strongly depends on the surface geoutaetry. In additionto this feattrre, the zero-energy states give peak splitting for the (110) strrfaces xvhen the strper-exchange interaction J is large. This is dtre to the indtuced .s-wave counponent near the surface.The present restrlt explains tire raaicroscopic origin of tlae spontaneotms tiuaae-reversal sytnmetrybreaking at the surfaces of high-T. supercondtrctors.
