Unusual Low Temperature Behavior in Diluted Kondo Lattice Compound Ce_<1-X>(La_<0.63>Y_<0.37>)_XRu_2Si_2(x≧0.50)

The rneasureraaent of magnetic susceptibility y('V'), specific heat C(T), electrical resistiv-ity p(T) and high field tnagnetization Al (H ) have been performed on diltrte Ce cormpotrndsCe? .(Lag.(53Yg.37).RtzzSiz, in which the lattice parameters atre rrtade independent of x to avoidtlae cheraaical pressure effect. Non-Fermi-liqtrid like behavior characterized by nearly logarithtaaicdivergence of y(T) down to x2OO unK has been observed as x -+ 1, wJaic1a is qtrite trnexpected forthe Kondo tenuperattrre 'Z'K x 24K of CeRtrzSiz. XVe show that tl?e characteristic beltavior of theexperitaaental results is well reproduced by an izaaptrrity Kondo rauodel xvith a wide distribtrtion inTx ("Kondo disorder"). A sirnple tnodel for the 'Z'K distribution is given. In the present dilutealloys, T? strongly depends on the local environrnent of nearest-neighbor distance.
