lVIagnetization along three raaain sytnnaetry axes of a PrNi5 single crystal has been rneasured instationary zaaagnetic fields Lip to 28 T at 1.5 K. The a- and b- are easy tnagnetization axes anda nuetarnagnetic process is observed along the o-axis. llVIagnetization curves along easy n-tagne-tization axes, particularly the a-axis, are xvidely different from calcttlated results by trsing theHamiltonian involving the crystalline electric field (CEF) effect, Zeeman cotnpling and exchangeinteraction. Bvxt taking account of the qtuadrtupolar interaction in addition to thena, we are ableto iunprove the curves significantly.
