A new approach to interpret the origin of the ultrasonic attenuation in superionicconductors is proposed. On the basis of experimental evidence such as the structuralanalysis and the molecular dynamics results, it is suggested that the sound attenuationdue to mobile tons can be evaluated through the formalism of the liquid theory.
